The Race for Oregon Republican Party Chair

The candidates have announced and next February's ORP Chair election should prove to be entertaining. I'll handicap the race on the other side of the New Year.

The candidates in alphabetical order.

Gabriel Buehler — current Chair Washington County

Jerry Cummings — current chair of Columbia County, pastor

Ben Edtl — Former candidate, founder of Free Oregon

Justin Hwang — Current State Chair of Oregon Republican Party, former candidate

Richard Jolly, Umatilla County, Blue Mountain Alliance

Jo Rae Perkins — Perennial U.S. Senate candidate, current ORP Secretary

Angeltia Sanchez — Founder of  Oregon’s very big Timber Unity movement, City Councilor
